I still remember that while I was young and when I was till in Canada. I have a part time job that I only need to work one or two hour for each week .I didn't have a bike and I just did it on my feet. All I have done being that I need to put a big newspaper that contains all kinds of advertisement and coupons to the mail box of each neighborhood near my residents. I usually did a few street and delivered one or two hundred newspaper like that each time and then I would get paid for $15 CAD for an hour which was n't bad at all at that time. I always did it during the night time even when it was very cold out there. I would wear a thick jacket with hoodie on it . When I covered my head during the night time, nobody could see my face and I did have a hard time to see the road as well. I didn't find that was a hard job and sometimes it was fun as well. Each month I had an extra of $60 CAD in cash just like that and it was not bad at all at that time. anyway, that was my experience. How about you ? Share with us ?

That's good. Hard work will pay off sometimes. I think your friend is enjoying his reward now.

I have been a different kind of newspaper boy : I sold subscriptions to two newspapers when I was a student. We were brought by a minibus in a different district every evening, and we had to knock at the doors between 6 pm and 9 pm. We were starting by a fake poll and then we were offering a subscription with a discount. I would not tell you how many times people slammed their door in my face
. It lasted 3 months, until we had visited all the city. There was a fix wage, which was something like $200/month, and a bonus on each subscription. It is one of the worst student jobs that I did.

LIfe is easy and we have to work hard to earn a living. Well, have some nice imagination then. At less it will make life easier. Think of having a good trip with your family then.
