I never really new how to use the root itself to cook with , and make my own tea with. It taste really good when you add a bit of other flavour you want with it, and for my ginger tea I add a bit o's orange juice on it and some honey and it taste good. Ginger helps to digest better, unplug your nose kills germs. I put some even in my turkey roast to give it a different flavour, everybody liked it. Sometime you think that certain spice are hard to use, or don't worth a try but I finally saw how to use it well and , Now I Know. Photo from pixabay

Yes indeed, when you boil some slices of it, for about 30minutes, for tea, than you put some honey in it with a little bit of lemon or orange juice mixed in it, its delicious.
