We Bought Windows Yesterday

We did have the window salesperson stop by yesterday evening and, as it turns out, the decision was a pretty easy one. We will be replacing the three windows we want to replace, though we did decide not to touch the front door at this time. Cost wise, the windows (which include the two large windows in front of my house) will run me $2480. At first glance, that seems like a lot of money. But, the last two companies we received quotes from wanted in excess of $8000 so I consider it a bargain. In fact, if we want to replace the remaining windows, it would only cost us about $1800 more. The cost also includes them rebuilding the frames, removing any lead paint residue and hauling away the mess.
