Going To a Battle With an Empty Stomach

I remember that when I was still studying, my mom would not allow me to leave without eating my breakfast. That was how I was trained. Even though I might be late, still my mom will insist me to eat. She would always tell me that I need to eat because I will go into a battle outside. I need to be strong and my body needs enough nutrients to function especially in the school and at work. Do you also eat your breakfast before starting with your daily task?

Because if you don't eat, in the long run you might end up having a hole in your stomach and that's ulcer. your stomach needs to have food within 8 hours. my grandma did that and now she has the worst ulcer and some sort of colon disease. if she doesn't take her complicated medication, she throws up all the food she eat.

Oh, I am very sorry to hear that. I have a weak appetite since I was a kid. I think I have to take a vitamin that will boost my appetite.

Breakfast has always been a part of my daily life. My breakfast would depend on what I am planning to do on that day. If I am expecting a lot of work, I'd eat a lot for breakfast (especially carbs). But on lazy days, I'd most likely just eat bread and drink juice or milk...

That is good. Breakfast is the most important meal of all followed by lunch. At dinner, I just eat little amount of food.

When I was young my mom never allowed me to go to school without eating rice for breakfast. But on weekends, I am free to eat whatever I want or even skip breakfast. So it has become a habit for me to eat rice for breakfast on weekdays, and eat bread on weekends.

I do not like eating much. That is why I think I am slim. I can eat with a bread only.

@annierose I can eat a lot, sometimes even more than a man. But I've never been overweight my entire life, even during pregnancy.

Yes, we do. That's the reason why I have to get up early. I cook our breakfast early because all of us really eat breakfast before going to work. It's only during weekends that we have bread or something light foods.

We are same. I feel dizzy if I will not eat my breakfast. Do you feel the same thing when you did not eat breakfast?

We should, but when I was young and worked in the bank, I went to work with empty stomach for I didn't like to eat in the morning. I was wrong, now I see to it to have a cup of coffee and bread in the morning.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts @Macarrosel! That is much better than eating nothing at all. I once did not have my breakfast and that made me dizzy so I have to look for any food store to eat something.
