How to identify a fake resume

I am a Staffing Manager. And everyday I come across fake resumes and loose some placements. Is anyone out there knows how to identify them?

Really? People submit fake resumes? That's dishonesty and surely if being hired and later on being caught, they will lose their jobs forever.

but it wastes much time of both .. they again has to search for a correct guy who has real capabilities..because of all these fake resumes much time waste.
