I think it is up to the individual to make such a choice. There are many things for people have different cultural background need to overcome. Such as : raise up in a different culture with different mentality, language barrier, different kinds of value towards family issue and in-law-relationship, etc. Of course there are always good examples of success and happy marriage like this. However, I think people with different cultural background will pay much more effort to build up their marriage and family than those with the same cultural background. What do you think ? I actually wanted to be in an interracial marriage because it is 100 percent guaranteed that I am not cousins with that person. Marrying a cousin I never met is one of my fears. I do not want to have inbred abnormal babies. Biracial babies are usually healthier and have more immunity for some diseases. The only disadvantage mixed race people have is hard time to find a bone marrow donor. The need of bone marrow donor though is very rare. Another thing, Foreign women thinks I am exotic. Local women, well the the one I like dont like me and the one I don't like likes me.
