Jason La Canfora and John Breech on Friday have reported the news the Baltimore Ravens have signed their place kicker Justin Tucker to a four year, $16.8 million dollar contract.
The Ravens placed a franchise tag on Tucker in February for one season for $4.572 million dollars. Miller had made a threat that he would not return to the Ravens after the 2016 football season if he became a free agent at the end of the 2016 football season.
Today was the last day teams could reach a contract agreement with their potential free agent players. Miller will under contract with the Ravens until the 2019 football season.
Miller joined the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Texas in the 2012. Miller is considered one of the best clutch place kickers in the league today which was a factor in the Ravens giving him a contract extension on Friday.
Miller led the National Football League in field goal attempts while missing seven field goals during the 2016 football season which may have been a reason the Ravens waited until the last moment to reach a contract agreement with their place kicker.

You are correct since Justin is a place kicker on the team.
