Is the Religion so Important ...?

It has become quite common in India that whenever any terrorist or extremists are nabbed there will be a furore over the issue, Even the public representatives try to side them with high recommendation pleading innocence on their behalf and seek bail for them. This is happening more in Hyderabad.
Recently, the NIA (National Security Agency) had conducted raids and undid the activities of an ISIS group which actually planned to bomb important cities in India. They even arrested some sympathizers of ISIS but finally the MPs and other people interfered and sought bail for them.
When a bomb blast took place in a Mosque in Charminar area the police have arrested many people who had ISIS links. There has been an uproar over the arrests. Their arrests were questioned even in the state Assembly also.
This is not only the ISIS supporters who are having the sympathy of local leaders but even the local Muslims though, being Indian national show sympathy for Pakistan and they side and support Pakistan in all their activities.
These people live in India, eat the salt of this soil, earn money here, live peacefully here, but again support Pakistan.
How horrible are these people?is this what Islam means?

@shivamani10,You are absolutely right.I don't know anything about Islam,but the truth is that all terrorists claim to be Muslims and all terrorist activities taking place across the world are in the name of Islam.If this is Islam,then I don't know what to say.One thing I would like to say that our successive governments have made secularism a farce and a vote garnering tool.Our leaders are psuedo seculars.

If they are real Muslims then they can't be terrorist because they really believe in God and will have fear to god so will not be going to kill innocent people.
