I don't understand why people are upset because Victoria Beckham kissed her daughter Harper on the lips. Some say it’s strange to kiss your parents like that. For me it's completely normal she's just showing affection to her daughter. Do you kiss your young kids on the lips? http://fox8.com/2016/07/14/instagram-users-weigh-in-on-photo-of-victoria-beckham-kissing-daughter-on-lips/

When they were little I did. Now their "too cool" for lip kisses and I respect that. I still hug them and kiss them on the cheek-they have no choice in that! Lol.

I guess it's alright. She a kid anyway. Americans are way more open-minded than asians anyway. But I guess wherever you are in the world, a dad kissing his daughter in the lips is sure to get him a lawsuit. So maybe it's alright if it's from a mom? And no, I don't kiss my parents at all.

I kiss my nephew everywhere in public. It's my way of showing love to him. My nephew sometimes demand for a kiss and i find it sweet. There's nothing wrong with it..

When my daughters were still very young, my husband and I kissed them on the lips. But now that they're grown ups, not anymore. We kiss them on theirs cheeks only and hug them.

@ronco510 I don't think it's strange. They're little kiddies

It's a cultural thing. In some places it's normal, in others not. In the US is pretty uncommon, and the same applies to the UK. I assume that all over Europe that's uncommon.

Well, as between parents and children there's no malice whatsoever at all.
