Alex Marvez of Fox Sports reports the news the Miami Dolphins have signed former Houston Texans running back Arian Foster to a one year, $1.5 million dollar contract with incentives that could reach his salary to $2 million dollars. Foster has recovered from a tear in his Achilles heel that placed him on the injured reserved list in the seventh week of the 2015 National Football League football season. Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase plans to have Foster to be his lead running back during the 2016 football season if he can stay healthy during the training camp this year. Foster joined the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in the 2009 National Football League football season. Foster was planning to work out for the Detroit Lions this week had the Dolphins had not signed him to a one year contract on Monday.

Foster has to prove himself after the injury to get back to the big money.

You are correct. He will get a small amount of guaranteed money from his latest deal.

Even a,one year contract is better than no contract at all. Once the injuries keep coming back. It's hard for players to receive offers from teams but thank goodness Foster received a contract.

Arian is a pretty good football player that believes he still has one "steam left in the locomotive" as the Joker would say to Superman in the animated movie Batman and Superman The Movie.
