Are you a business minded person? Do you trust your associates? How much you can trust all of them?
I am not into business or anything though I really want to put up mine someday. I have tried selling before and I think that I am good at it. However because of I have a full time job with a family to take care of, I cannot push through with that.
I respect people same with Business people no matter what business they have as long as it is legal and moral.
During our Alumni Homecoming Night, a former student approached me and begged me to help him to put his photo booth business during the event. Aside from wanting to help him, he offered something good to me which I accepted. But something came when the President who told me to call the shots, intervened and talked to him. That was a false move because she had given the man an opportunity to take advantage.
The real deal was he would be paid for 3 hours and then after that he would pack his things and go. He extended for hours, got the full payment from the President and never talked to me again! What a monkey! People like that who don’t know anything about business ethics should never be given another chance nor opportunity in the field.

Trust is the reason why many old Chinese businessmen were successful before. When one borrowed money from another, there was no document or contract to sign. Everything was based on trust and honor.

@cherigucchi Sadly though, many could not anymore be given that kind of trust. Gone are the days.

I don't think I am business minded. I do believe we should have trust when it comes to business, or actually human beings, but things don't seem to be this way for everyone. I want to trust others, but it seems like I have been taken advantages by others. I have spent my time and effort, but I am not paid.
Good luck to you in your future business.

Sometimes we have to elarn the hard way and we cannot help to fall victim of those who do not have integrity.

That was clearly a one and done deal. You are better off not working with this person again.

In my life I have been involved in a number of businesses with many different people. The conclusion is to always be careful as there are good people and bad and it takes time to know which is which.

Hello @cherigucchi
That does not sound right at all. Some people take advantage and don't learn.
