Technically, its not really jail because Philippine's former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was in hospital arrest. Previously, during the administration of former president Simeon Aquino III, she was in jail then transferred to hospital arrest. She asked the court for house arrest but was denied by the court. But now, in the administration of President Rody Duterte, the music has changed. Now, the Supreme Court made decision to let her come out from hospital arrest. The charges of plunder against her was dropped. During the administration of Aquino, he always blamed Arroyo in many issues.
