There are many food items that can give you a flawless beautiful skin and make you fight ageing process.
Tomatoes are very nice fruits. This is also included in the vegetable category. It is rich in the anti-oxidant lycopene which protects the skin from U.V rays. For getting the maximum benefit of lycopene one should cook the tomato and eat it instead of raw one.
If Tomato is rich in anti-ageing lycopene , the leafy vegetable Spinach is a rich source of anti-oxidants along with Vitamins B, C, and E, magnesium, Calcium, and Omega -3 fatty acids. The presence of Folate even repairs and maintains the DNA and prevents the cell damage.
Similar to the above two, the Olive Oil a good source of Vitamin E. and oher esential fatty acids that delay the process of ageing. This oil can be applied directly on the skin with a light dab and after half an half wash the face with cool water. It works as a good moisturizer also and works great in summer. You can also use it in cooking just by sprinkling over the food stuff and salads.

Who knew that just eating your veggies could be so great for your skin! I should have very healthy skin because I love my veggies.
