Choo is expected to return to the team as soon as he is eligible to come off the disabled list according to Rangers general manager Jon Daniels.
DeShields was sent to the Express on May 13, 2016 due to a batting average of .217 in 106 at bats.

Choo injured again. Fielder was having a lackluster year. DeShields was disappointing earlier in the season.

It is a shame that Prince Fielder has not been productive with the Rangers after he left the Tigers.
