What I've Accomplished So Far Today!

Not that you would be overly interested, but I’m rather proud of myself, nevertheless. LOL Tomorrow, the IT person is coming again to try to improve our Internet connection, which comes into the house in my office upstairs. As you may know, because I’ve said it often enough, I am in the process of cleaning out my office. It’s been a challenge, so knowing that he would be coming into my office, I decided this morning that I would move some things out of his way. My granddaughter is having a Yard Sale in August, so I have gathered all sorts of things for that and have boxes all lined up to take to her garage when the time comes. My efforts this morning have been rewarded and now my office looks presentable, even though there is still a lot to do. At least, it’s not all in a jumble, which it was, after pulling things out in the middle of the floor to sort through. I was able to collect many more things for the Yard Sale and put them in containers and then sort out the things I wanted to keep in another area of my house. The office now is much neater. I was also able to finish another coloring page when I took a break from sorting. I have been working on that all week off and on. I will share it with you later. In addition to that, I have done my laundry and straightened up the living room and ran the dishwasher. Now, I’m taking another break to write on myLot and its only 3PM. My great grandson is coming for an hour or so this evening so that my daughter and her husband can go out to dinner with friends. My great grandson likes to come here, because he will get to spend some time with my grandson, who is at home. My house is attached to my youngest son’s house, but I haven’t seen my grandson all day. He does his chores and takes a nap usually, because he and his parents get up at 4:45AM to go to the gym together. He also likes to stay on the phone with his friends all day. What has your day been like? I still have several things I want to do this evening. I’m still sorting photos and trying to figure out how to label them. My great granddaughter is supposed to come over next week and help me with that project. I may be retired but I certainly stay busy doing something every day. Yesterday, I went out for errands because it was in the 80s. It was the coolest day this week. It’s in the 90s today. I was trying to find some picture postcards but could not find any. Any suggestions? None of the Drug Stores in town sell them. Someone told me to go the Visitor Center on the Interstate. I don’t know how far I would have to go to do that, but, if I don’t find some soon that’s what I will do.
