Do You Use A Skin-Bleaching Soap?

Many dark-skinned women use a skin-bleaching soap to lighten their skin, while light-skinned persons try to darken their skin by tanning.
Both can be very dangerous.
Skin-bleaching soap can cause different types of cancer, and kidney and liver damage. It can even cause depression, anxiety, and scarring. Tanning is also dangerous and can causes skin cancer and other problems.
Why is it that women, especially, want to change from their natural skin tone to something else? It’s the same with their hair. Those who have naturally curly hair want straight hair and use all sorts of straighteners to accomplish that look. While on the other hand, those with straight hair, use perms and curlers or curling irons to curl their hair.
Those who are blond, want to be brunettes or redheads and those who have dark hair want to be blonde. Some want to be taller and some want to be shorter. Others want to gain weight while some want to lose weight.
It seems like we are never satisfied. I include myself, of course. My hair is straight and I would love to have curly hair and so I set my hair in curlers almost every day. I used to bleach my hair also, but now I have white hair. I don’t color my hair. My hair is actually a very bright and shiny silver color and I get a lot of compliments on my hair.
What a crazy world! What do you think?

It is very common in my country though rather than using the chemical based skin bleaching soaps, they use papaya soap which is more natural or Gluthione soap which is made of anti-oxidants. It is weird though that in a country were women have the tan skin western women desires, Women are obsessed of having pearly white pale skin.

Yes, I have very white skin and I think darker skinned women are very beautiful, in most cases. I have not heard of Glutathione soap, but that sounds like a good thing.

Yes, there are things that we can do to make ourselves look more presentable, but we don't have to go overboard about beauty products and similar things.

I suppose most of us wants to be trendy as fixed by the social norm to stay connected. Nowadays people will just trend towards what the majority are carrying and wearing.
Over here, the whitening face cleanser is very much in demand since we do not like to look dark tanned. Staying fair skin is much the norm here.
