Honk If You Love Tom Selleck!

Tom Selleck as Magnum PI

A death hoax is not a joke. It's a very cruel and nasty thing to do. Just because people are celebrities, doesn't mean they aren't human. Don't you hate when rumors start circulating that somebody died and the people are perfectly fine! That really burns me! So anyway, the rumor is false. Tom Selleck is alive and well and just agreed to come back for another season of “Blue Bloods”, the crime TV series, police drama show. Although my preference is when he starred in Magnum P.I. He was born in Detroit, Michigan. He's not from Texas but he should be. Sure looks the part! Just give him one of those gallon hats and cowboy boots and he'd fit right in. Don't know about you folks but me and Tom go way back. I remember seeing this handsome guy in ads in magazines. Guess what he was wearing. A ten gallon hat! He was a model and I remember thinking: 'Can he act? They should put him movies!' Years later, it was no surprise to me when he made the career transition and went from modeling to acting. OK! So! He's not a Shakespearean actor like Richard Burton. But you can't help loving the guy because he comes across as a really handsome all around good guy!! Rumor has it, he like that in real life too! No acting. Thomas William Selleck, American actor. Image credit: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Magnum
It's not hard to love Hollywood star Tom Selleck for his acting roles. But here's the full story of how he came to be the stand up guy he is today!

I remember my friend and I had a big crush on him when we were in junior high - oh that Magnum PI! I remember seeing his daughter skating way back when I used to skate - not sure if they still live in the area anymore.

Would be easy to develop a crush. I just saw his picture in a magazine and didn't even know his name!

I adore Tom Selleck! I've had a crush on him for 40 years. He seems like such a decent guy in person.

You know he really does come across a big hunk of nice guy! A sweet personality seems rare for Hollywood hunks.

@cmoneyspinner You're right, he isn't the typical Hollywood star.

When my grand daughter saw Tom Selleck on TV years ago, she said "Papaw Papaw" She thought it was my husband. Mainly because of the black hair and mustache I'm sure, but my husband actually did look a lot like Tom Selleck at that particular time. I LOVE Tom Selleck movies and TV programs. I've seen them all, I think. "Quigley Down Under" is one of my favorites. And I like the "Jesse Stone" series on TV
