Delegates To The Republican National Convention

A great issue in Pennsylvania Politics is the election of delegates to the Republican Presidential Conventions. State law allows the candidates too run as committed to a particular candidate or as uncommitted. The Republican Party chose to have its delegates run uncommitted to any candidate. This can give the delegation enormous bargaining power if the convention is contested. Unfortunately, it takes the power away from the voters. What do you think? Should the delegates run as committed to specific candidates?
