CBS Chicago reports the news on Friday the Chicago Cubs have activated from the 15 day disabled list outfielder Dexter Fowler. Fowler had been on the 15 day disabled list since June 19 with a strain of his right hamstring. Fowler had been on a rehabilitation assignment with the Iowa Cubs which is the AAA minor league team of the parent club on Thursday playing in a double header game before he was promoted to join the Chicago Cubs on Friday. To make room for Fowler on the Cubs 25 man active roster, the Cubs have demoted outfielder Albert Almora Junior to the Iowa Cubs since Almora would have been a bench player for the Chicago team. Fowler is one of the most valuable players on the Cubs roster. The Milwaukee Brewers will be hosting their National League Central Division rivals in a three game series to be played at Miller Park in Milwaukee Wisconsin starting on Friday.

Fowler's back and they want Reddick? Crowded outfield. Reddick would be a rental with Almora and Schwarber waiting.

I guess the Cubs need extra outfielders for the rest of the season.

I'm not a big baseball fan but I remember when I watch the world series with my great grandfather. (Tanikka Paulk).
