First Test

I find myself getting so excited about possibly being pregnant. I really just can not wait to take a test here at home. Tomorrow a friend of mine will bring her kids to have a play date with my son and she will also bring me some pregnancy tests. These tests are the good ones that will detect pregnancy early. I am so excited thinking about peeing on that stick and seeing 2 lines pop up. Or if they are digital, seeing the word pregnant pop up. I wish it could tell me how far a long like a different brand does, but just knowing I am pregnant will make me happy enough. I have been looking at different ways to do the announcement for if I am and I just want to be pregnant so badly. On the other hand if it turns out negative from home I will be saddened but keep hope that when I go to my appointment the next week it could still be positive. I am not sure how upset I'll be if I am not though I think I would cry for a little bit. I want to keep hope that I am until proven otherwise. I am thinking that if they tell me I am at the doctors office I will lie to my mother in law that I am not. That way if I am I can surprise everyone, excluding my hubby who will be upset for a little while and hopefully get over it then be happy. If I am not then I will tell the truth. How do you think I should announce the pregnancy? What did you do to announce yours? Have you seen any clever ones?

Do you feel any of the symptoms of pregnancy? With a couple of mine I knew I was pregnant because my heart rate increased and I started dropping things. Weird, I know. Is your husband not, uh, "trying" with you for this pregnancy?

Mine weren't very exciting but that was over 20 years ago and since we weren't married people didn't get real excited about it. If you go on YouTube you can find all sorts of videos of how people announced their pregnancies. There are some great ones there.

It seems that you are set on becoming pregnant. No idea how you can announce it. Perhaps, you can look up some ideas on-line. Anyway, good luck! Hope this pans out right for you.
