Reading Divergent and having a mug of coffee

Every time my dad has messaged me I don't see it for along while and then when I want to message him to see how my daughter is doing its either to early or to late. I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and reading the Divergent by Veronica Roth. My dad messaged me and told me the girls have been having fun and today they are going to the mall. She comes home tomorrow thankfully as I am a nervous Nelly without her here. Last night I took my son to watch fireworks at hometown days. He sat and ate a funnel cake I bought for him. He loved it and got to have a few bites at the end that he didn't finish. Today my son and I will be going to a birthday party. It's a big bus with video games inside. They are also doing a egg hunt for little plastic Pokémon characters. The mother is always so creative I can't wait to see what else she comes up with.

Are you planning to watch the movie version of divergent? Do you consider reading the sequels?

I have the next two books in the series here that I borrowed from the library. I didn't know they had a fourth one until I posted about it on facebook. I will definitely be watching the movies after.

@shaggin I will avoid spoiling you since I already finished the book series. I want you to uncover everything by your self.

I heard the movie was good. But I have not seen it. Maybe I should read the book. Sounds like your daughter is having a grand time and so is your sone. Awesome. My son got into that Pokemon go thing. With his iPhone. I will be going with this this week looking for some of those things. I have no idea how it all works. Enjoy the book and the coffee.

@shaggin I understand. Kids will be kids though. I get the discipline. And I agree. But they grow up real fast. Believe me. My son is now 15 and looks like he is 20. Almost 6 feet tall. Amazing.

@shaggin That I can understand. Kids get affected easily. I would have not banned him from video games though. I would have let him try to forget that woman's words. But you do what you need to. I will be getting my kids on Tuesday for a week. I am looking forward to that. Then they are going to Italy with the mother for a week. Lucky kids. Enjoy the rest of the night.

@marguicha Haha well then you would not like my coffee either. I add lots of flavored creamer and artifical sugar.

I read Divergent because when it came out my son was a senior in High School and taking a Lit course and they had to read it and they had to buy the soft cover book, so because he then owned the book, I read it and it was pretty interesting. I have not seen the movie.

The books we read in high school were all old I would have loved to do Divergent instead.

I just finished reading the Divergent a few minutes ago. It was really good so it only took me about two days to get through it. I am going to start the second one now which is Insurgent.

The party was nice but the game bus broke down so it didn't arrive and my son had a meltdown and we had to leave. He's in his room for an hour to calm down. No playstation or computer for him for the rest of the day. I'm going to lay here on the couch and calm down myself for awhile while I can.
