Should we share many photos of kid on social network?

I have taken very many photos of my daughter. I want to save images for her in future. Now, I have an idea I'll make an image diary for her. I think that she'll love it when she's a girl.
At present, I only use Facebook to save photos. Do you think that I can post this diary at here? Many people said that social network is not good to show many photos, special of children.
How do you think? Do you have much experience in this issue? Please advice.

What do you do with the photos? I usually save almost them in my computer. Now, I want to choose some of them and making an image diary. I think that I should save them on many place. Because I worry an unlucky situation such as the hardware is broken... :D

I made an account on facebook for my son. I didnt invite a lot of people and its exclusive to friends only.

Oh yeah! I have not think about this idea. Maybe I'll made an account for my daughter then add only my family to show them my daughter's photos :) Thank you very much.
