Are you a redhead, blonde brunette? Perhaps you have gray hair? Are you bald? Is your hair color natural or do you dye it?

Well naturally I'm a brunette (chocolate brown with auburn highlights actually LOL) but I normally dye it blueberry black..then add colours if I'm in the mood....I've had it electric blue, electric green, lavendar, powder blue, purple and thats all I can think of right now LOL...luckily there hasnt been any gray show up yet....keepin my fingers crossed about that one

I'm surprised all those colors show up when applied to dark hair. Do you have to bleach or lighten your color first? Why did you decide to dye your hair such bold and unusual colors? Do you think it's pretty or are you expressing your quirky personality? I've always been very conservative and your choice of hair colors is quite interesting to me.

LOL when I braid it I use extentions (I like my braids extremely long) but when I do it to my natural hair, yes I have to bleach it first...LOL I definately have a quirky personality without a doubt and I suppose that has something to do with it, but more than that I just love the colours...I dont have a conservative bone in my body LOL never have..

My hari is very dark brown - it is the darkest hair in my family. Some people mistake it for black, but it is not tru black hair. Oddly, in the sun my hair shines red. Lately I've been finding some gray strands and I've been pulling them out.

Your hair sounds a lot like mine, including the gray strands. My hair looks lighter and the auburn highlights shine in the sun, too.

I am a redhead, but I colored my hair, my hair was light brown, blonde, dark brown, then red, but when it comes to a significant other, or a husband for me, it does not matter as long as he has a brain. He has to challenge me and he has to be intelligent.

Mine is dark brown but it changes. It also has aubern highlights which come out more in the summer or when I'm in the sun alot. When the highlights are out it looks more redish brown.This is my natural hair color.

Currently, I am a redhead, but my natural color is dark brown with some gray in it. I never let my natural color show anymore though. I like the look of auburn hair on me. :)

I think it's good you choose a color that you like and are happy with. You must be full of self confidence to be able to say you think the color of your hair looks good on you. I think that's wonderful.

Does auburn hair usually turn that dark as one gets older? I've known many tow-headed kids who grew up to become dirty blondes or light brunettes but I haven't known anyone who had auburn hair that got dark.

auburn...a shade of red. it is my natural color. though it changes a bit. during the winter it gets more brown with reddish goldish highlights. during the summer it lightens up to a red with gold highlights. very pretty!
