Read or listen books

Since human started to write books and stories were invented, people started to read books not only to themselves, but also to other persons. In the church, the priest read parts of the bible to the visitors in the mass; grandmothers read tales to their grandchildren..... with the time, audiobooks for adults and children were marketed. Now, you can get them in libraries or online and, instead of reading a book, you may listen it at home if you are too tired to read yourself or meanwhile you are driving long distances. I've not tried to listen a complete audiobook yet, but it seems to be an interesting optione. Do you have listened already to a complete book? What's your experience about?

It might be an interesting job for those who love reading and have a great voice to record the books to be sold afterwards. Do you imagine to get paid for reading and recording books? Your voice might get famous. Yes please, share your experience in the future. Thanks.

The concentration by listening is definitely not the same as when you read yourself.

I prefer to do the both. Whatever works is good enough.

I only listen to books that are not so interesting to me as books for school. I prefer myself to read them, make sense of writing. Often I like to go back to reread a story or recall any detail.
