Each one of us has in one way or another have definitely experienced an event in our life that we can say made a significant change in our lives. This life changing moment varies from person to person. It may occur after giving birth, taking a course in college, getting married, losing a loved one, after reading a book, watching a movie, experiencing an accident, winning a game, and so much more in life.
With those things, we can say that life is a constant change. Change is something inevitable to happen. We go through different phases in life that contributed to our development as a human being.
What are those life moments that have changed your life? How did you face those changes?

You were a freelancer, right? What were you doing before you involved yourself in a freelancing job?

Have lots. Losing my parents is one of them. Facing the change of not having them was quite difficult. But that was 25 years ago and I'm not sure anymore how I was able to cope up with it.
Having my son is another and being a mother was the greatest thing in the world. It filled the void of losing my parents.

Part of me still longs for my daddy and I am still in the process of accepting that he is already gone. I think it will take long time before I can finally be healed from the pain.

I know there must be a bunch of life changing moments, but only really two major ones come to mind.
The first major one, would be, when I found out, after being hospitalized, that I was diagnosed with being Bipolar. That really changed my life, for the better and for the worse, in some ways it was a relief to find out the diagnosis, but in some ways it kind of sucked.. For example, I found out I couldn't be an airline pilot, essentially my dream job.
The second major "life changing moment" for me, was three years and a few months ago, when right within a few weeks of each other, two very close people to me passed away in my life. The two people were: A good friend of mine (my best friend's brother, but I considered him my friend as well and like a brother as well), and one of my absolute favourite teachers, my music teacher throughout high school, someone who would go above and beyond for his students. When this all happened, it just kind of made me realize that life isn't eternal, and I need to not take it for granted, need to live it to the fullest, as much as possible.

I agree with everything you said in here. I believe that God has a great plan for you. You just have to keep your faith alive.
I lost my dad one year ago and that was the time I also realized how short our life is on this Earth. I have realized if we can do a good thing, then we should grab the opportunity to do it because we do not know when we will be called to go back to our Father.

Yes, I think so that all the things that happen to us, good or bad, has its own reasons.

When someone leaves or comes into our lives, it connotes change for us. We can either be sad or happy or decide to do something to adopt to it.
