Tim LaHaye, a Christian minister who co-authored the best-selling series of novels in the series Left Behind, died today (7/25) after suffering a stroke.
A prominent minister who was part of Jerry Falwell's "Moral Majority" in the 80s, LaHaye began writing a series of novels based on the literal interpretation of Revelation in 1995. The series sold over 65 million books in all and spawned four movies based on the books.

I am sorry to hear that. In his life time, millions of readers read his book Left Behind. It scared me yet it inspired me. When I was reading it, it seemed that no problem I had at the time was worth worrying about. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting...I was reading Left Behind on my way to London, and ended up leaving it on the plane. I never got it back...I guess you could say it was "left behind."

I was surprised LaHaye was 90. So he was about 70 when the success of the books happened.
