The Democrats Turn

Tonight the Democrats had their first night to lay down their platform for the election. Michelle Obama gave an excellent speech in both tone and substance. It may have been the highlight of the night. Elizabeth Warren was very effective in knocking down Donald Trump and what Trump stands for. Bernie Sanders expressed confidence that Hillary Clinton would follow through with a progressive agenda. He vowed to fight against Donald Trump. There were other notable speeches like Senator Al Franken that lent some humor to the occasion. All in all it was a positive first night.

It was a great night and Bernie did his best. The first lady was wonderful!

They had to be positive to counter the email scandal of the DNC conspiring against Bernie. For those expressing disdain for Republicans, this was proof of corruption and dishonesty by Democrats.
