the day I was 'attacked'

It was a horror of a day.
There I was, minding my own business, yet enjoying the delights of an eighteen month old Toddler Niece and a Nanna at the end of her tether, when disaster struck. Oh, woe the tragedy.
It came out of nowhere, this long, sharp and thin piece of metal.
Stab you, I shall! it laughed somewhat gleefully.
Ouchy! I said.
Haha, there is lots more ouchy where this came from! chortled the long, sharp and thin metal.
He continued to stab me throughout the day. I continued to ouchy throughout the day. Occasionally I was able to swipe at the long, sharp and thin metal and force him into submission. This lasted a matter of minutes and then he would somehow find the nerve and the ability to stab me again. If I hadn't been in public I would have throttled him, but alas, I could merely adjust.
And now one of my favourite bras has toddled off to Underwear Heaven {or maybe Hell, based on his shenanigans} no more to stab me with the supportive {yet evil} underwire.
*sad face*

@Poppylicious I have given up wearing bras for the last 20 years or more. It's unnatural and I hate them.

@fishtiger58 If I didn't wear them I'd find it too uncomfortable, and a lot of my clothes wouldn't suit non-bra wearing!

@hereandthere It's eminently possible that some gentlemen may require additional support downstairs!! Maybe we've just stumbled upon a great idea! Or maybe not

I suppose I could do that, but I prefer underwire to no wire. In the past I've tried putting a couple of stitches in to stop the wire popping out again, but eventually the wire escapes again.

Definitely painful! It's not something you're told about when you hit puberty!

They can - they should come with a health and safety warning.

I hate when that happens. That is why I only want to get wire free bras.
