Too Good to Forget

Once in a while, we will encounter some things that we are going to tell to ourselves and others that "It is definitely a time worth remembering." Those situations certainly give us joys that we cannot contain much our happiness and have no choice but to share it to those we love. My too good to forget memory was when I celebrated my birthday last 2015. Things were rough before that special day of mine. My father passed away followed by a misunderstanding with my boyfriend. It was too much to bear that I told myself I need some time to move away and that will be the best gift I can give for my birthday. When I thought I will be having my first solo travel in a different country on my exact birthday, my boyfriend flew from his country to the Philippines to fix the problem. He said that he was worried of me being alone in a different country. My mom who was worried also with my plan to go abroad alone willingly permit my boyfriend to be with me on the trip. The feeling was something I could not describe clearly. I just wanted to pour tears of joy because of the big surprise. I never thought that the man I love could do all those sacrifices for our relationship. I thought it only happens in television and novels, but I was wrong. It can also happen in real life. How about you? What are some stories of yours that you think is too good to forget?

This is very touching. One of my fondest memories is that after the divorce from my husband of 18 years we were able to remain fiends until the day of his passing.

I think it is not easy to make friends after the divorce. I am glad both of you still made it. Do you have kids of your own?

Indeed, it's great experience for you ;) ..Are you and your boyfriend still together? .. Anyway, the most memorable for me were the moments when my sons were born ..

@annierose That's good that you are still together .. When you have your own children, you'll know why childbirth is the most unforgettable life experience ..

@SIMPLYD He is a Korean. We met in Livemocha. It is a language site. We were friends but did not talk much on that site. Then he asked me to add him on my Skype. There is where our serious relationship started.

Your story is so heartwarming. I have too many stories that are too good to forget but the best one I think was the time when we went to Singapore.

My colleagues told me that my long has been like that of Rapunzel whenever I told them the story behind my first trip abroad. I have lots of stories too that are really remarkable but that one was I guess, definitely the best.

I couldn't seem to remember any at the moment maybe because there are too many I couldn't seem to narrow it down to just one.

Those are worth writing for. Have you ever thought of publishing some parts of your life that you think will inspire many?

My experiences right now with my move are the best that has ever happened to me. I've heard other people's great testimonies and how things just worked well for them, and always felt left out in the blessings department. Now it's my turn, and this move isn't over yet, it's just getting started. I get the keys and sign the lease this Friday. It's been a fun roller coaster ride to this point.

@annierose Thank you so much. It all starts this weekend. I'm going to be absent from the computer most of tomorrow as I get this house packed and ready to go. I don't want any hold-ups when the time comes to get everything out of here.
