She's Excited!

My daughter is the one who is excited. Today I have to have her at the doctor at 1pm. Afterwards, I told her we would go shopping for some school clothes and go out and eat before coming home. She can hardly contain herself! I am truly shocked. She is 10 and just now starting to get to where she likes shopping for clothes and such items. I can remember a year or two ago it was like pulling teeth to get her to go shopping with me to try on clothes. I guess this is just one more sign she is growing up on me!

haha, I think give her another few years, and she will not want to go shopping with you! She will rather go with her friends, and buy clothes that her friends will approve. Over here, many teenagers will not want to go shopping with their parents. I think they rather die than to let their friends see that their mums choose clothing for them.

@ssheng1 I think all teenagers are like that. Would rather die than be seen with their parents. After all at those ages we are the enemy. So, therefore, I am enjoying it while I can!

@melissa1024 haha, don't worry. 30 years later when you are old, she will be the one holding your hand to bring you to the doctor.

Oh, they grow up fast. My boy has always been picky with his own clothes from the time he learned to talk! We could never shop for his clothes without tagging him along or he wouldn't wear what we bought for him.

@toniganzon She has just started getting into clothes. All along she had her favorites but she wore what I bought. Today, she picked out what she wanted to wear to school, I just steered her in the right direction. A big change for me.
