The MISS UNIVERSE 2016 will be held here in the Philippines, no confirmation yet about the exact venue if it is in Manila or elsewhere in the Philippines. I am wondering too if they will held that in Davao since it is also the hometown of the President Duterte and yet they are portraying it as the safe and clean City. It was confirmed by the rappler that the beauty pageant will be held in our country and the budget will be from the private sector. At first President Duterte refused that offer because of the huge budget which is estimated at $11 million but then they confirmed that the government will not spend even a single centavo for this beauty pageant. I hope I will be able to watch it live as long as the ticket is not that expensive and if it would be held here in Manila since I am a fan of watching Beauty Pageant. I still remember watching the Miss Universe here in Manila that was way back 1994 and that is summer time. I assume that the time of the beauty pageant will be Monday morning so that it can be aired Sunday night in other countries. Hoping all the best for our representative which is Maxine Medina and I am sure the other Pinay beauty queens can witness this live.
