One of my cousins died while I was away.

Things happen. Good and bad. Today, as I was having my breakfast with Leticia, she told me that she had seen a friend of hers that works as a maid at one of my aunts´ house. She told her that my aunt was very sad because one of her nieces had died. Leticia thought that if the person was my aunt´s niece, it had to be one of my cousins. And sure enough, she was one of my favorite cousin´s half sisters. I called immediatly my aunt and she told me all about it. It seemed that she had been ill for a long time. Fortunatly, she died in her sleep with no pain. I will call Carlos (my fav cousin) later in the day. Even though they weren´t very close, still she was her sister. I had not called him yet because Claudia lost the present I brought for him. I was hoping that she´d find it. Now I´m glad I didn´t. I will go to San Fernando next week if I can to pamper him a bit.
