Rotowire reports the news the Arizona Diamondbacks have activated from the 15 day disabled list outfielder David Peralta. To make room for Peralta on the Diamondbacks 25 man active roster, the Diamondbacks have demoted to their AAA minor league team the Reno Aces outfielder Michael Freeman. Peralta had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on June 20 with lower back spasms. Peralta had played baseball for the Diamondbacks minor league teams in the rookie league team the AZL Diamondbacks, the AA minor league team the Mobile BayBears and the AAA minor league team the Reno Aces on a rehabilitation assignment after he was able to resume his baseball activates. The Los Angeles Dodgers will be hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks for a three game series that starts on Friday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles California. Peralta is expected to be in the starting lineup for the Diamondbacks on Friday.

The veteran is a solid player but he won't make a difference to Arizona's lost season.
