Busy week over...

I went to work today from eight a.m. to four thirty p.m. Today the kids had "water fun day" at the childcare center--and were all encouraged to bring their bathing suits and water shoes. One of the parents lent us a sprinkler. We were really low on kids today in both the toddler and preschool rooms (the latter of which I was in most of the day), so it wasn't too crazy. One of the toddlers was being really obstinate today--not listening to a word the teachers said and flat out telling them "no" several times, so he didn't get to participate in the water play. Our latest company came by while I was at work, as we knew they would, but sometimes schedules don't come together. They spent some time with Mom and then left to turn in their rental car and head home. So, the work week is over, and we will be having no more visitors for a while. I am looking forward to staying in my bed until eight a.m. instead of having to start work at eight a.m. I came home and caught my breath, then took my dog for a walk around the block, which made her happy. I hope that you had a good Friday (and are having a good Saturday, if you're there already).
