My husband have an ex-gf....Then, after my husband (still boyfriend back then) went to Singapore, this ex-gf suddenly moved and rent a house few blocks away from my husband's home and just steps away from their church. She attend Sunday mass in there and greeted my husband's family every after mass. They told me that news but I just let it passed. That was 2010-2011? I think..
When are already here in Singapore that was around 2012.. my closest friend, she is my maiden of honor in our wedding, rang my phone and asked hubby about some details of his ex-gf! She exclaimed “F*@k! I think your ex-gf will be my new housemate”.
Coincidence?
I open this issue to my mother-in-law and she just tell me not to think about it.. haha! Maybe that girl is going crazy. I friend her in facebook and hopingly she will start a conversation with me. But she don’t.
One day, she posted that she and his new boy is at Plantation Bay in Cebu. On my surprise, that was the exact date we were there a year ago.
Scary!
I posted in my wall about “There is no such thing as coincidence”. Then she blocked me in FB. Haha! On that, I make a conversation with my husband. I insisted for him to have a simple dinner with his past. Maybe she need some closures in her part. My husband rejected that idea of mine.

Hmmm, I believe your husband planted a lasting impression on his ex-GF - - something that she could not forget and always craving for it!

@cacay1 Yeah, you are right @cacay1 . . . By the way, are you longing and longing and craving, craving, craving for the love of your ex-bf, too? Don't tell us you got just one boyfriend now your husband. Looking closely at your profile pic, I can tell that you got dozens of past (and present) admirers! In fact, you got one current (present) admirer; but am not telling you who!
hehehe

@acelawrites that is my husband's point. He told me that, that girl do not have those kind of attitude. So we better have distance with her.

It would be good if she has an open mind; if not, it is not advisable to have it, just ignore it.

Reading the details of your post, I just remembered other people who some similar stories like yours. I admire you for telling your husband to have some closing party with her ex-girlfriend. It's a sign of maturity, and on the other side testing your husband of his reaction probably. It's good that its just the past and you're living a wonderful life with your family, not thinking of what might have been in the past. There are times I remembered the past romance in my life but I know that it was a part of the journey. Keep on and move on. Everything happens for a purpose. I know now that I need to look forward to the future.
