We all like Potato chips. It is easily available snack available in the market and inexpensive. If you eat it occasionally there may not be any problem but adding it regularly to your diet as side dish may cause irreparable damage to your health. Of course, there is also a saying 'anything in excess is always bad'. How eating potato chips affect your health? Here is the list;
Preferring potatoes regularly will lead to weight gain as they are high in calories and fat.
They do not have any kind of nutritional value. They occupy the space meant for other nutrients and one will not be able to eat what one should have in the normal diet.
Because of the high amount of fat they increase the Cholesterol level in the body which is very dangerous and lead to cardio problems
As they generally are prepared using salt they increase the blood pressure and affect the cardio system. Sometimes, this may affect the kidneys also.
Better avoid eating these potato chips and instead try to prefer some vegetable chips as an alternative.
