I feel its time

Lately I have been doing a lot thinking about my life and feel that changes need to be made. When I started college I felt that would help me feel better about myself. But although it was one of ultimate goals I still feel I am missing something. My life right now is so chaotic, filled with drama (which I do everything in my power to avoid). I have had a rough past couple of years and because of that I lost apart of who I am. I honestly don't like myself at times and my life. I want more. Is that selfish to feel that? Part of me feels it is. But you get so tired of taking care of everyone else and letting what you want or need on the back burner. I just feel its time to change that. Let loose, be me! Heck even my hubby and I move out of state and start fresh. But my parents and kids and grandkids keep me here. So many things to consider. Anybody else feel that way? If so did you make big changes in your life?

Different phases do come in everybody's life. Take it as a challenge ant try winning it with full soul. Don't get disheartened. Keep your spirit up and handle situations smartly.

Several years ago I felt the same way too. Then I went back to studying for three months and took a professional licensure to become a real estate broker, passed and put up my own company. That changed everything. I think we all go through a phase in life like that. Things would work out fine if not soon, someday it will.

I know how you feel, I feel stuck in my situation, too. If it were just me, I'd want to make a drastic change in my life. Leave work, find another opportunity, maybe go someplace else to start fresh. But I have two little daughters and I have to factor them in my decisions. I remain hopeful, though, I know we can still steer our lives in the direction we want to. As for me, I have to make calculated decisions and not be too rash.

That is how I feel at times. My husband and I have talked many times about starting fresh somewhere else. But my youngest is 16 and my other two are grown. But in a couple years she will be off to college. I feel nothing will stop us then. We can visit our grandkids.

I sure do appreciate you for taking time to really think and ponder your life and what it should or must be. In my personal experience, I've got some important changes in my life that are very significant to what is destined for me to do. The first change was in 1998 when I made a commitment to put my trust in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. My whole life has been re-arranged. My ambitions changed, my character made a change. God engineered that great change for me to understand some things in life that comes with a better understanding of the purpose of life. The second change came when I open my heart to knowledge. There are areas of life, like my financial life, my social life, and leadership life that are worthy of change. As one author has said, the only thing that is not subject to change is the word "change". Everything else can change or make a change. So, I consider change as a positive thing that can make all the difference in life.
