Today, while I waited for the rice to cook (I invited some friends I haven´t seen for a long time), I thought I´d listen to oldies. I got some of the earliest rock as it is the music that is played at the serial I´m watching (a serial about nurses and midwives in England in the late 50ths) I then wanted to listen to Rock around the clock, the very first real rock I heard. I wall little more than a child then and now I could watch Bill Haley at YouTube. I could also watch the clothes teens wore then (I recognized them) and worst of all, I saw all and everyone of them with a bubblegum in their mouths. Costums change (no piercings or tattoes then). But teens then and now do things that later on will not be accepted. I started smoking at 13 (all moviestars smoked from the beginning to the end of the film). Now I have an emphysema but noone told me I shouldn´t do it. Smoking is still legal and will always be. There are some people with power who place tax money in their pockets. What else have you noticed?

The first record I ever bought was Rock Around the Clock, and the second was 'Let's Twist Again'. Happy Days. Fortunately I never smoked.

I bought had both of them. Now I have discovered that both themes are wonderful to do the housechores while half dancing along with them.
