How long have you been a freelancer? How many projects you done? 3. Whats your qualified? 4. How many freelancer sites you know? For me, only freelancer.com 5. Do you paying for membership? Thanks for answering

Me! Aside from reporting to the Firm from Monday to Friday, I'm also a freelancer on Upwork. 1. To get hired for projects, I make sure that my bids/proposals are tailored to the needs of the client and the job. I don't submit templates. I do personalized bids for each project and state in my proposal my experiences relevant to the project and why the client should hire me. Likewise, I regularly update my profile for projects that I have accomplished to give prospective clients an idea of my skills. 2. I've been a freelancer on Upwork for 11 months now. I've done a lot of projects and most of them were hourly paid. I could say majority of my clients are regular ones. 3. I usually get qualified for projects because of my work experiences (both online and offline), educational qualifications, skills, exams that I passed, and licenses that I currently hold. Also, I indicated on my profile that I'm currently employed in one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms and that I have been previously employed in multinational corporations (MNCs) and also handled MNCs as clients in the Firm. 4. I know freelancer.com though I would highly recommend Upwork because I've been there for almost 1 year and I know that it has lots of legitimate projects and varied categories to choose from. 5. I don't pay for my membership. Mine is free. However, for those who want more than 60 bids, they will be asked to pay a certain amount.

@hyeriem Yes, Upwork has lots of exams. You can take them. They are free unlike some exams on freelancer where they charge you an amount. You'll never know unless you try it. It's a good source of income and you get paid in US dollars.

Hi! I am not a freelancer but I am considering it in the near future. It is one of the reasons, I decided to have a blog of my own. I would like to put all my writings in my blog. That will serve as my online portfolio and I know it will be of great help once I started applying for a freelance job. Good luck on you!

There is a site called Upwork where you can bid on writing and other freelance jobs. It is best to have your profile filled out, a clear picture of your face, and to be truthful about past jobs. Also, have your list of skills up to date. Read the terms carefully. Some people want you to write thousands of words for hardly any money. Know what you are getting into. Complete all assignments on time and proofread them carefully. Good luck.

@hyeriem You need to decide for yourself whether it is a good place. If you don't like it, you can leave.
