Following up on a discussion started by Sarah ( @essennyo ), a fellow Tumblr-ite. One commenter was asking about making money from your Tumblr blog.
Shock! Awe! Amazement! Have you heard the news?
Went to the settings in one of my Tumblr blogs and saw a button that was new! Clicked to learn more and guess what??
Per Tumblr Support:
“On-blog advertising … It's the first step towards a partnership program that would let eligible Tumblrs share in the revenue from running ads.”
They are working out the kinks, but this looks like the start of something good! We'll see!

@SIMPLYD - NO! It is not! And I hesitate to tell people to rush over and sign up because they have new owners and I don't know what the future holds. But I'm already at Tumblr and I'm not leaving unless they tell me go!

Wasn't aware that this site was not allowed in the Philippines. Can't imagine why it wouldn't be. It is a global community. It's spelled Tumblr. Without the letter "e". It looks like there are bloggers there who indicate they are in the Philippines.

That would be very awesome. I love Tumblr. And I also found a replacement for Tumble thinking it was going by the way side. A site called Medium. Which is owned by Twitter. No, you don't earn on Medium, but it is a great second to Tumblr. But lets face it, MyLot will remain the number one site out there.

@cmoneyspinner It is a nice site. I just started there. But MyLot is my home online. What I do like about Medium is that it is clean and neat and very easy.
