Do you have a crazy schedule?

I have been thinking how do some people handle their life if they have a crazy schedule. I have heard some people rants about if only they could divide themselves into different parts so that they could do many things at once. When we are too busy, times flies too fast, isn't it?
I have been in a full-packed schedule and sometimes I just want to throw all the paperwork and just go out and travel. However, it is not possible and not good as well during this time of the year. With that reason, I just go with small things that will make me relax like reading and writing here in Mylot. So, if you have a hectic schedule, how do you handle it for you to still get sane.

I have meetings here and there and just a while ago, the secretary texted me that we'll hae an Investment Committee meeting on Monday to assess the varous investment proposals of several proponents. This meeting will be in conflict with another meeting so I have to forego attending the other meeting. In times likes this, I decide to give preference to whichever is urgent and more important.

We always need to do a list of our priorities or else we will be in trouble deciding which to go first. So how is your day today?

@annierose Probably it will be a good day today, Ms. Annie. The sun is up and we had our early morning walk at 4:30AM. Just finished doing a quick trim on some parts of our lawn.

Ah yes the crazy schedule. I remember those days. Now I'm retired so I get to do whatever I want. It's pretty cool.

@fishtiger58 I hope that all people do feel same way as you do. You really prepared for retirement, don't you?

Since i have my full time job from Monday to Friday , my schedule for other things on those weekdays are so minimal.
Even then , i see to it that i get to watch my fave Ang Probinsyano , after dinner or while having dinner . After dinner , a little myLotiing or FB and catchcing up with my husband while we prepare for sleep .
Every other Saturday , i visit my parents and sisters and family . The rest of the weekdays will be spent relaxing . IT is so important to me that i get to relax before Monday comes again .

I have missed watching "Ang Probinsyano" a lot. I do not know what happens now with the story. I wonder when will Kardo find out the real murderer of Ador.

@annierose Last night i wasn't able to see And Probinsyano while we ate because it was on a cable channel for a movie that my father-in-law and huuby were watching . I was able to see some when i went to our bedroom and opened our TV .
That one will happen when it will be nearly ending . That will be the finale of Ang Probinsyano . But i saw last night a teaser wherein Kardo will again pretend to be a woman again to catch Vice Ganda . That is exciting , i want to see that episode .

Several years ago I had a crazy schedule and had two work shifts until 11 and still I was wanted by a lot of people. But it didn't last long as I didn't want to be a slave.
Now I have more control of my time. I rest when I want and need to.

Exactly! We work like slaves sometimes and I hate it too. So, once I feel that things are being overwhelming, I just stop for a while and breath some fresh air.

That is good so we can stay sane. Life should be as much as possible "balanced."

I think that we don't really mean "crazy" schedule because we're not really that seriously crazy. A hectic or tight schedule doesn't mean that it's crazy. What we can do is to handle one schedule at a time and I believe all will be done. When we panic because it's not the usual comfortable schedule, it's us who might consider our schedule crazy. Having a lot of lists on what to do means that you keep yourself busy that can add value to others.

I used the term "crazy" because it is what referred by some people when they have to handle too many obligations. I think it is just a figurative language, not meant to be really taken literally. I do think that deciding what really matters count a lot when we have this kind of schedule. That is I think one way to simplify conflicting situations.
