Friendship Day / myLot

The first August of every year is the "Friendship Day". Over the years the definition as well as the person who you associated with the definition has changed. From the school times when you would fight for all your friends to the college time when you realize you cant fight for all your friends to now when you realize is it worth to fight for your friends. Well this has been my journey and I am sure others out here must have a different story. So is there one friend who "was" and is not "is" ? If yes then what would you want to say if he is reading this topic. I remember my school best friend . He was nice and my first best friend and I dont even know where he is now.

These days word "friend" is a joke in real life. Online people can be friends easily but offline people see each other die on road. so it's too artificial.

You are so right.I thought I would be criticized for my post. Apparently there are some who believe in what I believe in . Online when time comes your net can stop working but offline it is not that easy.

@skysnap I did not think you were criticizing me. I meant I will be criticized for my post as I had given less significance to friends as they used to be, let alone friendship day.

You are so right. School times best friends hardly remain friends even after a certain period of time. And in today's time life is getting so hectic that hardly one gets time to interact with people....

I didn't know that the first of August is Friendship Day. However, we can make everyday a friendship day. We go out there and make friends with people and enjoy their company. Nevertheless, there are different kinds of friends. I have learned that there are casual friends where you meet and talk because of a common activity, place of residence, the same school, or the same advocacy. Second, there are comrade friends. These are friends because you have one common goal to achieve or project to do. Once the project is done, they will leave you. Therefore, don't mistake them to be close friends. The third kind of friends are the people who are "Close or Intimate" friends. They are few in number but they are true. They know your weaknesses and strengths but they love you because of who you are. If you have some few, you are a blessed person.

I have alot of 'was' friends, I tell them to f*** off cause if you are a lying snake and a b**** you can never be true to someone. They killed friendship and they should all go to hell because that's where they belong.

I didn't know that such Day exists -_-" I have many was friends but I think it was meant to be to lose them. If they aren't worth you they will disappear (like my xD).
