That B***h Got Mange!

Hello interested readers. Sorry for the title but I don't mean it in the abusive way. I mean a female dog. Today as I was returning home, I was passing my old house and I saw one of the dogs we used to feed. She was always a healthy dog and was loved by everyone around. They too used to feed her as well. But sadly as I saw her today, she was covered in mange and ticks. She has lost a lot of weight as well and is looking very sick. Hope the people living there take care of her now. It was really sad to see her in that state and I felt helpless as I know vets will never come forward to help in any way. I like dogs and most animals and when they are ill treated, it makes me sad. So, if you have a pet, take care of them and make sure they get all the love and affection they deserve.

Mange is very hard to cure and the dog gives off a foul smell due to a secondary I think fungal infection that comes with it, poor dog

Luckily I got a local vet to come and collect her and take care of her and now she is slowly recovering

too much population in india makes it hard for people to take care of themselves let alone animals.

OMG you are absolutely right. The situation here is terrible when it comes to over population. I really pity the poor dogs on the road though.

maybe not in some areas, just like in the Philippines, Metro Manila is over populated, in the province, its less density.

Yes i too was completely cut up seeing how happy she was and how she had changed. But thank God she is much better now. The local vet is taking care of her.

I would pamper my own dog to the maximum. This however was a street dog.

Mange is like a fungal infection. And the stars are because I cannot use that word. Even though it just means female dog.
