Yes the news is depressing but I still look at the news app just to know my surroundings.

That's the course of wisdom when viewing the news, it helps you to know about what's going on in and around your life...Depressing as viewing the news is, there is a benefit.

Yeah! They depress me because there are many people in world who not want peace. They want only disaster for everybody.

Yes absolutely! Technology has brought the world much "closer" in that we can see more of what's going on in the world and locally.

The news can be depressing to many people. I think its "a sign of the times." 2 Timothy 3:1-5 tells us that "in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here." and then goes on to explain basically what we see in the news today.

Reading those verses in 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 is like reading the newspaper or viewing the news on TV or on the internet. 2nd Timothy 3:13 also mentions: "But wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being milsed"
