Do you have any habits you wish you could erase?

Habits.....Habits are so influential. I just finished reading a book called "Change your Habits, Change your Life" by Scott Piles. It was helpful. When it comes to my habits, the only thing I am working on is to overcome all my fears. Fears limit our potential to do things better. What are you working on? or are thinking to work on? Share your habits and how they help to build you the person you are.

I would love to get over my fear of sharks. I want to be able to go scuba diving one day and take some underwater photos but the thought of being in the same water as a shark or even on a pier for too long freaks me out.

@stifler0207 well my hobby is taking pictures. The scuba diving is on my bucket list along with rock climbing, sky diving, bungee jumping, hot air balloon rides, & tons of other crazy stuff like that & I want to be able to photograph these things as well. I plan on getting a GoPro for most of those but I want to be able to take photos that people look at & think wow that's amazing. Sharks are the only fear I have so I can't wait to do these other things.

@CaseyRoss9966 I have done Bunjee Jumping, Zipline and Fox Climbing in Rishikesh, Uttrakhand, India and Paragliding in Himachal Pradesh, India. I have done river rafting, rock climbing but the only fear is about scuba diving because of sharks. I can do more things but this thing I will not do even in my dreams.

I have a addiction of using mobile phone. Sometimes I think that I would leave all social networking site and enjoy my full real life with family and friends that would be a great change in me. We have to stop all these virtual life which was created by us. All they are giving just pain, ego and lots of showoff.

Thanks for sharing about an interesting book. I would like to read it, whenever possible. It is said that - "old habits die hard", so it is very difficult to change any habit (provided an activity which one executes falls in the category of habit).

I actually roam outside. This I want to change. Getting angry is another bad habit which I want to dispense with.

So what's wrong with roaming outside? Yes, anger management is one such thing. I am sure it will benefit you if you learn to control it.

It's wonderful to know you are reading a very good book that can help you become better. Books are handy and you can't hear a voice so you can just read and think that the author is speaking to you in a smooth and loving voice giving advice. I am working on myself in a lot of areas like planning, doing the list, overcoming fears, being positive, and developing the discipline to do what I need to do to be successful. May you have a prosperous journey as you keep working on your habits as I do also with my own habits.

Yeah, books let you imagine and form the perfect scene in your head. It takes us into a totally different world. Having taken science, I could hardly find time to read other books. I was always busy reading my subject related books. I am working on myself :) And I thank you for the best wishes and I wish you the same :)
