Work for nothing?

I have been busy with a few software projects in the previous few months or a year, but it's kinda sad that all projects are either on hold or cancelled, that means I do not earn any from these projects.
Though I am a bit disappointed as I have put lots of effort and time on these projects and even neglected my children, I think I can still make good use of these projects and see if I can sell them to other customers.
No matter how, I did enjoy while working on the projects, and it's already over, so there's no point for me to feel sad or disappointed. Life goes on.
Are there anything that make you feel disappointed or sad lately?

I paint and sell in local stores. last week as I rushed to get more stock to the store that is selling like crazy, I did a final spray on the slate to protect the finish...it was hot and humid and the whole slate (2 of them) turned white and I couldn't sell them. I did find an oil that got rid of the white and gave me my colors back but I had to touch up the paint so today I will spray them again and hope this time (its not hot and humid today) all is well and they can be sold and not thrown away.
