We Bought Furniture

I actually ended up spending about $700 more than expected because I decided to get a recliner and some new lamps along with our couch (which is a reclining one, like I wanted). However, I do consider it an investment and, when you consider my wife and I have been married 13 years, have been a couple for 16 years and have NEVER owned brand new living room furniture, I think we deserve it. Everything gets delivered tomorrow afternoon, just in time for movie night.

The lamps are a nice throw-in with this one. There's limited light in our living room (one of our future projects), just two lamps. The one on my side of the couch is older than I am, has a very thick shade and doesn't allow much light out of it. The floor lamp on the other side of the couch seems to always have a burned out bulb. The new lighting should be a nice change.
