Hard situation

I have had a lot of things happen to me over the past couple of years and l have overcame a lot of it. But the one thing that really hurts me to the bone is being deprived of seeing my granddaughter. My son gf is or was pregrant.last I heard she was due any day now. My son isn't talking me as he told me to leave him alone.so if she was born we wouldnt know. Well my oldest daughter messaged his gf asking if the baby was born yet. The gf told my daughter that neither her or my husband or me will ever see our granddaugther. You don't know how that felt like a knife in my heart. All this stems from the immaturaty of both of them and not getting there way. This girl is so hateful and spiteful and expects everyone to do what she wants no matter the price.We want put up with his gf erratic, crazy behavior and because of that we are pushed out of my sons and our granddaughters life.I refuse to give into them and have them use their daughter as a pawn. How do you handle something like that?

It's very difficult to handle such a situation. She's spiteful indeed. I just pray that someday she'll change her mind about everything and realises her mistake. It's really hard.

i feel fer ya, hon. but, 'tis yer son's choice 'n ya sadly aint got any control o'er such. i reckon ya could take 'em to court fer visitation rights (yepperz, grandparents can do that), but then ya need to think 'f the impact 'f such'n that babe. if'n all parties could keep their thoughts 'bout the others to 'emselves, such'd be good. if'n not, the repercussions could be detrimental to her emotionally. sometimes, ya jest gotta walk 'way :(

@crazyhorseladycx Yes it does. I just found out that my grandaughter was born on the 2nd and not from my son. She is also had breathing problems upon birth.

It is really a hard situation. I don't know what to do if that case happen to me. You want to see your granddaughter but your son and his gf are unreasonable about it. Hope things get well on you.

I hope so.. but I really in my heart don't believe it will work out. Not as long as we don't what she wants. her way or the highway.
