Can You Better Your Life Circumstances?

What Do You Think About This? Our background and circumstances in life may have had a HUGE influence on who we are as a person right now, but EACH person is responsible for who they BECOME in the future. A person COULD use the circumstances in his/her life as an EXCUSE for not having a happy life now, but wouldn’t it be better to MOVE FORWARD from this point in time and actively determine to make your life better from now on? Many people have grown up in terrible neighborhoods, or with family members who have been abusive. Perhaps a person chose to take drugs or live immorally in some way. None of these circumstances would have brought TRUE happiness to someone’s life. I’m sure of that. People can CHANGE their circumstances however, and improve their life styles and be truly happy if they really WANT to. I firmly believe that. I’ve seen it happen to several people, so I know that it can be accomplished. I think that a person needs to WANT to be happy. A person needs to be FED UP with being unhappy. A person needs to do whatever needs to be done to change his/her circumstances and make being HAPPY their goal in life. This is a TRUE statement: The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of circumstances, but they DO make the most of whatever their circumstances are. What do you think? Changing our lives for the better often face the challenge of finances and outside forces (government for example) that impedes our chances.

Yes, I agree with you about outside forces impeding a person's chances of improving their lives. But, even under those circumstances, sometimes a person CAN change some of their circumstances for the better.

To question the meaning of life, some also ask: Why are we here? Does my life have a purpose? You can consider fundamental truths that the Bible reveals.
