#7 in my series Favorite Kissing Songs belongs to Art of Noise and Tom Jones' remake of Prince's classic song "Kiss."
Art of Noise was a quirky, Grammy-winning electronic band that formed in England in 1983.
Tom Jones is, well, Tom Jones. Now known as Sir Tom Jones, OBE, the Welsh Singer has amassed 19 Top 40 hits here in the States.
In 1988, the two party's collaborated on Prince's "Kiss." "Kiss" was an international hit, charting in several countries, including 18 on Billboard's US Dance chart.
Why go with this over Prince? Simply because this version is more fun.

I like the group Art of Noise and I like Tom Jones. But I would have never thought of them collaborating. It was a worthwhile effort.

This was a great and unlikely collaboration. I think this was Jones' last hit.
